Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) Programs Update
Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) Programs Update
The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) is now entering the
3rd phase of its 4-step priority setting process. The objective of this
initiative is to maximize the impact of the health research enterprise
on informed decision making through the focused and efficient use of
NSHRF resources.
The NSHRF has identified potential health research priorities based on
feedback and input gathered and will be presenting these for the Board
of Directors to consider in February 2010
The Foundation?s new Health Research Priorities may begin to take
affect as early as April 1, 2010 and may impact Program Requirements,
Registration and Application deadlines for our 2010-11 Knowledge
Transfer/Exchange and Capacity programs. The 2010-11 Health Research
Grants Competition which will be held spring 2010 will not be affected
by this process for this coming year. Information about the 2010-11
Health Research Grants Competition is provided below.
Updated information regarding the health research priorities process
will be posted on our website - www.nshrf.ca and distributed to the
health research community in early April 2010.
